The individual panels are based on 50mm and 75mm thick lightweight autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), an environmentally-friendly material that weighs far less than standard concrete. The panels are reinforced with vertical and horizontal corrosion-protected steel, and have exceptional performance in impact and fire resistance, thermal and acoustic insulation, increasing the safety and longevity of your building.

Performance and Characteristics

Loxo AAC Panels perform well in impact and fire resistance, are pest resistant, will not rot, and have great insulation characteristics for both sound and heat. With temperature fluctuations in buildings occurring closest to the exterior walls and, unlike most conventional cladding solutions, Loxo AAC Panels are installed in the perfect location to take advantage of their insulation qualities and reduce your ongoing energy costs.

Eco-friendly

Loxo AAC Panels have been independently assesed for enviromental performanceGESlogo, so you can be sure that you are using a product that is very eco-friendly. The AAC material used in Loxo Panels is produced efficiently with no pollutants and results in minimal waste with simple disposal solutions. Products based on AAC have been produced for more than 80 years with processes continually improving to reduce environmental impact, thus earning Loxo the GES International ISO 14024 certificate. A genuine assessment for a genuine product.

Installation

Loxo AAC Panels are easy to install and provide benefits over conventional cladding solutions such as plastered brick. The panels themselves weigh far less than standard concrete allowing installations on timber wall frames without complex and expensive engineering and support. Installation is simple and fast, with our panels utilising a Loxo flashing system to create secondary weather defence cavity and feature details such as grooves and express lines that can be easily added unlike other plaster-based cladding systems.

Loxo AAC Panel Floors are an interlocking panel system designed over typical timber or steel suspended floor structures. The floor panels are simply glued and screwed to the floor joists. The Loxo Panel Floors providing a lightweight and cost effective alternative to solid concrete.

Loxo Cladding Systems can only be installed and coated by LBP External Plastering licensed applicators ensuring complete quality control.

Guarantee

Loxo AAC Panel and associated materials, when installed as exterior wall cladding, are guaranteed for a minimum life period of 15 years (from date of completion), meeting the requirements outlined in the New Zealand Building Code (Clause B2.3.1). Our products are designed to have a life span significantly in excess of this minimum period.

Loxo AAC Panel Floors and associated materials, when installed as a structural floor, are guaranteed for a minimum life period of 50 years (from date of completion), meeting the requirements outlined in the New Zealand Building Code (Clause B2.3.1).

The Loxo Approved Coating Partners are Masons or Wattyl Granosite plaster systems. Both plaster systems are guaranteed for a period of 15 years (from date of completion) to perform and meet provisions outlined in the New Zealand Building Code (Clauses B1 – Structure, B2 – Durability, E2 – External Moisture, and E3 – Internal Moisture). This guarantee applies only where all material components of the plaster system have been prepared and installed in accordance with our written instructions, technical specifications and detail drawings, and where the work is carried out by an approved contractor, and where the system has been properly maintained and subjected to normal conditions of exposure.

Our panel installation and exterior plastering workmanship is guaranteed for a period of 5 years.
